MVA physiotherapy in Brampton — FAQs
Do I need a referral for MVA physiotherapy in Ontario?
No referral is required. You can book directly with us as long as you have an open accident benefits claim with your auto insurer.
How soon after an accident should I start physiotherapy?
As soon as possible — ideally within a few days. Early treatment leads to better outcomes and helps document the injury for your claim. Ontario SABS benefits must be accessed within 10 days of the accident.
What if I don't feel much pain right away?
Whiplash and soft tissue injuries often don't fully manifest until 24–72 hours after impact. It's important to get assessed even if pain seems mild initially.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the severity of your injuries. Many patients see significant improvement in 8–12 sessions, but your treatment plan will be personalized based on your assessment findings.
Do you serve patients outside of Brampton?
Yes — we serve patients across the GTA including Mississauga, Vaughan, Caledon, and Etobicoke. Our Mississauga clinic is at Aafiyat Medical Centre on Platinum Dr.
